Hammonds Barn
Ground that was once lost by the sloping elevation of this garden is now being reinstated through the creation of two distinct levels. A bold, curved retaining wall constructed using vertically inserted timbers has provided a link between two extensions to bring the whole garden together and create a much larger upper lawn terrace. The modern and exciting design mixes well with the contemporary interior of the house and from the terrace makes the most of extensive views beyond.
Littlefield
We were asked by another garden designer to construct a central water feature to their design, which will become the focal point of an avenue of crab apple trees.
Buchanans Barn
This is a huge barn conversion set in an idyllic Cotswold location. The owner and developer has undertaken the construction of the garden to our design and specification. We will also be carrying out the planting for this project.
Mack House
This garden is located in a wooded dell and has been carefully developed by the owners over the past ten years. They required the house to become the central focus of the garden and to create a link with the existing pathways. On plan we have achived this by proposing a retaining wall that follows the natural contours of the land and allows the garden to flow from one end to the other.
